One-Line Bio

When I go somewhere without my camera, I ALWAYS wish I had it...

I am verbose and communicative to a fault, and I can be surreptitious. I am fortunate enough to be married to my best friend. We are sufficiently crazy and decided together to have 4 amazing children. I am passionate about my family. I am also passionate about my photography and I like it to reflect REAL life. I like the world best from behind my lens, or with a glass of wine. When I grow up I want to be a writer. I would, generally speaking, not be a good subject for a Skinner box. I am prone to crying at children's concerts or performances of any kind. I like to talk a little smack when I get the chance, and I can be hyper. I see everything from an odd angle- which explains the oft-commented on tilt of my camera. That, or I have a kink in my neck. I almost never use spell or grammar check~ though clearly I should. Right now, I really like the buzz words 'modern' and 'urban'. But that is subject to change. I prefer my house clean, and my food messy. I prefer my life clean- but let's face it folks- it's messy.

I am a photographer. I have been all my life. It took me a long time to say that. I work mostly with families and documenting relationships. I also enjoy working for non-profits. I am available for travel. I work in a real, modern, photojournalistic way. If you like what you see, e.mail me and we'll share some real life together.
